The Seal Rescue Ireland are hosting a training seminar called ‘Seal Rescue Network Training‘ this weekend for members of the public who wish to become marine animal rescuers!
The training will take place in both Tralee, Co. Kerry and Salthill, Co. Galway

Where: Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre
When: Saturday, 11th February 2017
Time: 9am – 1pm
Details for the Seal Rescue Network Training in Salthill, Co. Galway are as follows:
Where: Galway Atlantaquaria Classroom, Salthill, Co. Galway
When: Sunday 12th February 2017
Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm
Seal Rescue Ireland have stated that everyone is very welcome to the training sessions but anyone who is definitely going must RSVP.
Responsibilities as a Seal Rescue Network Volunteer include:
- Being called on to assist seal rescues in your local area
- Well-trained and dedicated volunteer that will monitor, assess and transport seals and marine animals that require your aid
Seal Rescue Ireland is an amazing organisation and the work they do is very important for Irish conservation and biodiversity in Ireland’s Marine landscape.
A training fee of €35 will apply for this event and places are limited so book early this week!
