Ireland’s Wildlife have updated their annual ‘Discover Wildlife Weekends‘ for 2017! 

The people of Ireland’s Wildlife website have stated that there are new elements to the wildlife weekends that have been added to this years tours along the Wild Atlantic Way of Ireland!

The Weekend event includes exploration of a large range of natural habitats that can be found along the Irish coastline. The events last for two days and include a weekend of guided tours and wildlife watching along Ireland’s amazing coastline for €90 per person. There is also an option for a special accommodation package that covers the entire weekend in a Bed & Breakfast (B&B) as well as a group dinner on the Saturday night of the weekend in addition to a packed lunch for Saturday’s excursions. This package is available for €139 per person.

The first weekend event of 2017 will be hosted on 7th – 9th April 2017 for the Spring season and on 12th – 14th May 2017 for the second wildlife weekend event of the Spring season.

The first summer event for ‘Wildlife Weekend’ to be conducted by Ireland’s Wildlife for 2017 will be hosted on July 7th 2017.

The summer highlights of the Wildlife Weekend events are said to include wildlife such as basking sharks, white-tailed eagles, butterflies, dragonflies, minke whales, humpback whales, seals, kingfishers, choughs, peregrines, otters, Irish hare etc.

This is an ideal weekend trip for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts!
