The 27th Irish Environmental Researchers Colloquium (known as EVIRON 2017) will take place later this month.

The event is scheduled from the 10th until 12th of April 2017. This year, EVIRON will be held at Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) and will run all day. ENVIRON is hosted by the Environmental Science Association of Ireland (ESAI) every year.

Event Information: 

This is the largest annual gathering of environmental researchers in Ireland. This is an excellent networking opportunity for people of all career levels in this field. The day is expected to be filled with the best researchers in this field from Ireland and internationally.

This years conference theme will be ‘Putting the Eco in Economy’. In addition to guest speakers and talks given for the most current research regarding environmental science, there will also be training workshops and educational centres present.

There will be a debate on the subject of ‘Draining the Shannon’ on the Monday night which will be open to the public and ESAI are encouraging the public to attend.
